All our houses and cabins are strong in form with a deep sense of place, designed for the context they inhabit.

Spatial organisation based on two axes of function (sleep, live, eat, work) and rank (main and auxiliary) is a clear central motif. A dialogue of contrasts defines the boundaries and “in-between spaces” to subtly break up the volumes. Expressive interiors and exteriors feature fixed and moveable screening and built-in furniture that gently play with dynamic light and shade, and balance privacy with openness. While complementary materials and textures (soft/hard, heavy/light, warm/cool) convey the locality and further enhance connection with the outdoors.
